JW Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel

The reception and breakfast room staff was really kind and helpful. It's a big, comfortable hotel that also has a huge car park. (70 Lei per day). The room is spacious and clean. The bathroom is also very big. We stayed there in January and the room was warm enough. There is adjustable air-condition in the room. The bed is comfortable but the pillows are too soft. Breakfast was good but not exceptional for a 5-star hotel. It could have been better.

The location is perfect if you have a car or use Uber or bolt or public transportation. Is close to the attractions but not in walking distance. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel responded promptly to my requests before reaching the hotel and they met my requirements. The hotel is huge and there are luxury brands shops on ground floor and couple of good restaurants. If you have kids then the twin room is more than good enough to accommodate more than two child with the double queen beds. There is huge parking space at the back of the hotel and the also allow you to park in front of the hotel with the same charge for both parkings per day.

I chose JW Marriott as my wife had had surgery in Bucharest, and I needed a place for her to recover even though I had to head back to Australia early with the kids. They exceeded my expectations. The hotels staff are extraordinary, never have I left a hotel remembering individual staff members names. Diana, Teodora and Anna and the other two girls whom I deeply apologise I cant recall the names (one was from India) in the Executive Lounge. Your kindness, eloquence and empathy were much appreciated. My wife and daughters much appreciated this refuge Gabriel (Head of Housekeeping( thankyou for the bears and donuts) To the cheerful lady who cleaned my wifes room and kept her spirits up even though she was recovering from surgery. 1.Very modern and spacious room ! (is the 3rd time for me when I stay in a 5* hotel) 2.Great duvet (fluffy, light but very warm) and pillows, toiletries.. towels etc 3.Kettle for tea + mini-bar (I could store own food there)

Lovely hotel with everything you could want or need. Large comfortable room. Great restaurants and cafes. Staff from check-in, porters, restaurant staff, cleaners, day spas, and gym were excellent and very helpful. Would highly recommend a stay here.
